The Dylan Jersey
The Dylan Jersey, in 'Scarlet' is named after Welsh poet and writer Dylan Marlais Thomas.
A popular poet in his own lifetime, he was also freqeuntly used by the BBC as a reader and speaker due to dulcet Welsh accent and tone.
His most famous works is the 'play for voices' Under Milk Wood.
If you heave yet to listen, be sure to listen to the recording by Sir Richard Burton who read 'The First Voice'.
Interestingly, despite being heralded as one of the most important Welsh poets of the 20th Century, he wrote exclusively in the English language.
