Pre-Order Now – New Production Begins 2026
Handmade in England and cut from an authentic original 1930s pattern, The Hartington Slacks are a refined and essential addition to any heritage wardrobe. This new 2026 production run continues our commitment to traditional craftsmanship, quality materials and timeless design.
Crafted from a stunning 100% linen in Desert Khaki, these slacks bring effortless elegance to warmer seasons and offer a more relaxed, breathable alternative within our iconic trouser range.
Authentic 1930s Cut
The Hartington Slacks follow the clean, sophisticated lines of early 20th-century tailoring:
- High-rise waist for a flattering, period-correct silhouette
- Double forward-facing pleats for comfort and drape
- Wide leg, measuring 10" at the ankle, finished with a 2" turn up
- Button fly, single waist fastening & belt loops
- Choice of two finished leg lengths, tailored to preference
Hidden discreetly inside the main pocket is a button-fastened ‘secret pocket’, ideal for storing coins, valuables, or keys—the kind of detail you only find in true heritage garments.
Craftsmanship & Materials
Made from premium Desert Khaki linen, this fabric offers superb breathability and comfort, making the Hartington Slacks ideal for travel, summer wear, and relaxed dressing.
Every element has been carefully considered—including the buttons, made in England from natural Corozo (vegetable ivory), a sustainable material harvested only when the nuts fall naturally from the Tagua palm. No trees are cut, no forests disturbed.
A Name Steeped in History
The slacks take their name from Hartington, a village at the heart of the White Peak District. Nearby stands Arbor Low, one of the most important Neolithic stone circles in Britain—protected by law since 1882 and a powerful reminder of Britain’s ancient landscape.
